Celebrating Women’s History Month at Good Time Creative

As a 100% female-owned and majority female-operated business, Good Time Creative is proud to be recognized as a WBENC (Women’s Business Enterprise National Council) certified business. We are a part of a select group of companies in the creative agency world—what we call the "1 percent club"—a reference to the statistic that shows just how rare it is for creative agencies to be founded and led entirely by women. Check out some exciting highlights below…

Changing of the guard…

Good Time Creative was featured in the January edition of Exhibit City News, in an article titled “Good Times Ahead!” by Pat Friedlander. The article addresses the "changing of the guard" in the trade show exhibit design industry, which has historically been dominated by male figures. You can read the full article here.

"More and more young women are leading companies—taking over family businesses, buying existing companies, or, as in the case of Good Time Creative, starting their own companies." It's a powerful reminder of how women are reshaping the future of the trade show industry, and we are honored to be part of that transformation.

Industry updates…

After serving a successful three-year term as President of the EDPA Midwest Chapter, Marissa passed the torch to incoming President Courtney Soice, CMO of Hamilton.

Reflecting on her time as President, Marissa shares, “Serving as President of the EDPA Midwest Chapter has been an incredibly fulfilling experience. I am proud of all that we have accomplished together, and I couldn’t be more confident that the Chapter is in exceptional hands with Courtney. I have no doubt that her leadership will continue to drive the Chapter forward.”

Marissa will remain actively involved in the EDPA Midwest Chapter, continuing to serve on the board as a member and Chair of the Future Workforce Student Engagement and Events Committees, as well as Co-Chair of the Marketing Committee.

Additionally, Marissa is serving her first year on the Women in Experiential (WIE) board, where she co-chairs the marketing and membership committees. She is also honored to be one of the panelists for the Women-Led Business Panel at the Annual Women In Experiential Breakfast, hosted at EXHIBITORLIVE on March 19th in San Antonio, Texas.

Marissa will be joining 3 powerhouse women in the industry, including Amanda Helgemoe (CEO, Nuvista Event Services), Liz Nacron (Partner; President of Creative & Production, Live Marketing), and Ellen Campbell-Kaminski (President & COO, Exhibit Concepts, Inc.).

Looking Ahead…

At Good Time Creative, we're beyond proud to be a 100% female-owned and majority female-operated business. As we look to the future, we’re not just focused on growing our business—we’re dedicated to supporting and empowering the next generation of female leaders in trade show design, experiential marketing, and beyond 🚀
