Goal

Catalina Crunch wanted to launch their new chocolate bars memorably by creating excitement kits for 75 recipients. The goal was to showcase their product in a fun, educational way while ensuring the chocolate remained intact during the summer months. We were asked to design and produce these custom kits to deliver a unique unboxing experience.

Challenge

We were shipping chocolate bars during the heat of summer, and we needed to devise a packaging solution that would maintain product freshness.

Solution

We designed a colorful, custom kit to highlight the launch of Catalina Crunch’s new chocolate bars. The kit was crafted with both visual appeal and educational messaging. Key product callouts were incorporated into the design of the box, ensuring recipients understood the unique qualities of the chocolate.

To securely display the bars, we decided laser-cutting techniques to custom-fit each bar into its designated space within the box was the best way to go, preventing movement and protecting the product during transit.

In addition to the chocolate bars, the kit included a branded Yeti tumbler, custom stickers, and an infographic to engage recipients further and enhance their experience.

GTC added insulated liners to each kit to solve the challenge of shipping chocolate in the heat. These liners guaranteed that the chocolate bars would remain fresh and undamaged upon arrival, regardless of summer temperatures.

Results

The Catalina Crunch Chocolate Excitement Kits were a success. They delivered a fun unboxing experience to 75 recipients while keeping the chocolate bars in perfect condition.
